7/1/07 - Really.

12/1/05 - Inside the Actors Studio. Now with more obscure inside jokes and weird references than ever before.

4/24/04 - Added the Corner Plasma Escape to Stupid Fed Tricks in SFC2. By the way the re-premiere went pretty well.

4/15/04 - How do you get a guitar player to turn down? Put a part in front of him! All this and far less at the "re-premiere" of the piece about cannibal Scots on Monday, April 19, 6:30PM at Patrick's (3010 Minnehaha Ave. S.). I have to conduct this time. (Super teeny-weeny eye-strain-o-vision study version also available.)

2/13/04 - For people who really want to numbercrunch in White Wolf systems, or the very bored, added a brief Probability Chart for rolls of 1-7 dice at difficulty 6-8 in the White Wolf system. LATER: Added charts for difficulties 9 and 10, to illustrate the weirdness of the WW system at very high difficulty ratings. Also tagged on the little proglet that calculates these results, still in progress. It's weird that I got any feedback at all on this, but I have. :P LATER: Added statistical data for 8 and 9 dice and a new proglet.

11/6/03 - If you've ever wanted to see composers bite their fingernails down to the bone while a jazz orchestra sweats through really difficult world premieres (generally translates into "last performances") of their works with insufficient rehearsal time, one of my pieces is being premiered at Patrick's Cabaret (3010 Minnehaha Ave S. at Lake in Minneapolis) on Monday the 10th, 6PM. Follow the score if you like. I'll be hiding in a fake nose and glasses smoking furiously.

10/10/03 - No doubt the first of a series of dissatisfied grumblings about Star Wars Galaxies.

7/4/03 - .notplan updated basically to tell eveyone that the idea of making another server in light of recent ingenious Bioware innovations is totally unfeasable. On the other hand, Star Wars Galaxies is really surprisingly good (at least for now).

4/30/03 - .notplan updated. It seems stupid to update the front page for every dumbass .notplan update, so I'll just forget about it for now.

4/22/03 - More .notplan stuff as Kynn breaks all my shit.

4/7/03 - Updated the .notplan.

4/3/03 - This is only here to shame me into action. My .notplan.

4/2/03 - Since Wen dragged me out of the house to do something in the big scary outside world, I figured I may as well get some sort of flimsy content out of it. How to Get Your Live Band to Sound Better. Kynn and I have enlisted Wi into our next NWN project that I hope never goes live, so I don't have to administer it. Stay tuned.

3/18/03 - In case you haven't noticed (as is usually the case with me) the Forums have been replaced. The old forums are in fact back up and running, but I'm too lazy to relink. If you want to see the old forums, you can access them here for a while.

3/16/03 - Because a few people have inexplicably requested it, a Three Towns Postmortem has been added. Now leave me alone.

2/21/03 - Having managed to pawn off Three Towns on an unsuspecting player in Scotland, I've been catching up on real life issues like making enough money to buy food, petting dogs, writing music, and wailing at the state of the game industry. I somehow remembered that I did play a few new games recently, though they were either so incredibly unremarkable or just plain bad that I've pushed them out of my mind, instead playing Jagged Alliance 2 maniacally again. Still, I managed to remember enough about them to toss up a couple of new bad reviews for Hegemonia and Mechwarrior 4: Mercenaries. I think I may have also played O.R.B., Sim City 4, Hitman 2, Warcraft 3, and some other drek. I may manage to write a review for them longer than two words someday.

12/23/02 - Added a film to Stupid Fed Tricks and a little note about the changes to EM in SFC2 patch 2.036. Meanwhile, for some strange reason Three Towns remains popular, despite the fact that we've been horribly neglecting it for weeks now. There is no patch to fix players.

10/9/02 - In my tradition of not doing anything until I remember that it might be a good idea, usually after about 30 hours without sleep, I have stuck up a lame page about the Neverwinter Nights server. Now to figure out why nobody likes it. :P

8/28/02 - More nonsense in NWN for those who like to keep up with the latest development in yet another potentially great game derailed by insanely horrible QA and development procedures.

8/8/02 - Settled in finally in our fabulous new pad away from insane pathological liars who have sex with cats, Wen and I have been incredibly lazy. Well no, I've been incredibly lazy, and while she does things that keep us alive I can't even update the page. However, I have found time to do hours on hours of horrible scripting for a game whose publishers insist on breaking it all the time. Yes, that's right... Neverwinter Nights. Oh yeah, and use this forum.

5/27/02 - With soooo much going on in the world of gaming, how can I not update? Because it all sucks. In the meantime, I'll be changing message boards shortly as I've heard that Beau and Jin Lee and other people who use 2 paper cups and a piece of string to connect have problems seeing Gamers.com. If you want to break in to the new board while I'm still screwing up the color scemes and making it unusable, click here. Thanks to Slite at Vitae Rising for returning purpose to Beau's life.

4/16/02 - Added 4 films to Stupid Fed Tricks, since nobody can watch the old ones anymore under the latest patch.

3/21/02 - Added some more obvious and elementary crap to Stupid Fed Tricks while burning out: Big Hull Little Hull and The Decoy Frigate.

3/14/02 - Not much time these days to update with all the dealing with insane people and all, but in light of the possibility of Feds on SFC2.NET 6 starting in F-DD's, I compiled some tips in Stupid Fed Tricks gleaned from my expansive experience of about 3 hours flying the F-DD while writhing in pain.

1/3/02 - Since the Lurky Charity Drive is working, but difficult in that it was using the Wedding Registry page, I set up a new page for it which will probably be modified soon. For those of you who don't read the VR board, here is the original link.

11/9/01 - History is a collaborative effort. So is the present. Down in Flames part 2. UPDATE: A good piece by Mystery about the site implosion. Die Web Celebrities Die.

11/7/01 - Is this the end of an era? No, that happened when Lum foolishly stopped writing all his own material. The successor site, slownewsday.net, self-destructed today not with a bang, but with a whimper. Down in Flames.

10/27/01 - Thanks to Peter Strait for an email missive about The Business Problem. If anyone can verify and, better yet, point me to documentation/analysis/commentary on R. Buckminster Fuller's proof that the U.S. would save money by paying 2/3 of its people their current wage to stay home (I believe it may have been mentioned in Design-Science Revolution), email me.

10/25/01 - The drones on your ship, and the drones at Interplay, both abused in SFC2 Rants.

10/12/01 - Wendy says I've reached a new low, and she's right: posting fan stuff for a game I don't even play. :P Mr. Balljangles presents his first Mage Knight tournament report! Catching the Tournament Itch.

9/30/01 - Although it's been bouncing around in my head for a while, the current crisis my family is facing spurred me into finally writing it down. I'll become a fountain of Sinclair rhetoric yet! The Business Problem. Also added some of the feedback from my previous non-funny, non-gaming article: Comments on the Sept. 11 Incident Article. LATER: Added a review of Arcanum.

9/27/01 - Suddenly realized that I never posted a link up to EE's version of events chronicled in the battle log, so here it is. :P

9/25/01 - Noticed that my forum has apparently been down for about a year or so, and finally got around to making a new one. You might have to register at Gamers.com or something. Pffth. now I can glumly scan it occasionally wondering why nobody posts here. Also, against my better judgment, added a commentary on the September 11 incident because for some reason people pestered me with email about what I thought, and when I was going to update, so I figured I would take care of both issues simultaneously. Everyone has an opinion, you know. Mine is considered extremist by some. You have been warned. Later: Changed forum to Bravenet from Gamers because that big fat bald bastard Beau complained. :P Even later: Bravenet boards are even worse than SitePowerUP boards. Stupid icon clusterfucks be damned. Back to Gamers.com.

8/31/01 - Dropped another film into Stupid Federation Tricks of a match with Gow Phlap's C7 and D5Y from last night. I may not have time to add my newest rant before I leave town for a while, so please just keep in mind when reading entertaining posts by Dagger on the Taldren forums: DON'T EVER EVER EVER FORGIVE DAGGER. EVER. EVER!

8/30/01 - EE of LoD wanted me to "write an RP story" about a fight we had early this morning. SFC2 is not a roleplaying game. You do not roleplay a captain in a ship. Dynaverse 2 is only a roleplaying campaign in that you roleplay a person frustrated by bugs and morons. However, much the same could be said for any MMORPG, so here it is. Battle Log: Mu vs. EE. Also added a section to Stupid Federation Tricks for those cursed with the same ship I am... Killing Stuff Quickly in the Bismarck.

8/27/01 - With no ship, no word from the server admins, and no desire to buy one of the fantastic hospital or commando ships in the Fed yard, I've updated Stupid Federation Tricks with 2 cheesy techniques, some updates on ship choices, and a stupid film.

8/26/01 - This was a really bad day. Well, every day on Dynaverse 2 is sorta bad, but this is a whole new level of bad. Possibly worse than C. Dalton bad. SFC2 Rants.

8/20/01 - Would you like to be the new president of an interstellar alliance of nitwits? Well now you can! All this and less in SFC2 Rants.

8/15/01 - More bitching and moaning about the Federation, one way or another... I can't really tell anymore. SFC2 Rants.

8/6/01 - Another irrelevant update to SFC2 Rants, and a new page of ways to suck as a Federation player. Stupid Fed Tricks.

7/9/2001 - Work on the followup wedding pages delayed due to reformatting hard drive, reinstalling a new OS 7 times to get it to freaking work, looking for a new host (still in progress), new dog tragedies, and the discovery of that one game in a thousand that could be good but is ruined by asinine players and cheesy server kits yet again, Starfleet Command 2. Let the ranting begin.

5/31/01 - Loot page updates with more stuff, and a forum swap in anticipation of SitePowerUp's inevitable explosion. More wedding stuff coming up as soon as one of us can get off our lazy asses long enough to develop film.

5/23/01 - More dogfood rolls in to the loot page as the day of reckoning draws ever closer. At least our dogs won't starve with us. By the way, if anyone happens to be in the Reno Hilton area this Saturday, you can go to the wedding, attend a geeky convention, or do both.

5/22/01 - Added a loot page to the wedding array.

5/18/01 - Yet more feedback and responses on the treatise comments page. Note: Please take heed of the word "DESIGN" on the index page. As in, the act of "DESIGNING" a world, not "PLAYING" in one. Grr... In more uplifting news, Shi and I have been given a set of towels, a corkscrew, and one red cent! I offer my thanks and blessings to our benefactors. I can do it, too. :P

5/16/01 (later) - Wedding bells, dey is a' ringin'.

5/16/01 - More feedback on the treatise comments page, and another footnote to Dev Board 1, Mu 0.

5/15/01 - Fixed some points of contention, and added a general comments page to the printer-hostile version of the manifesto.

5/14/01 -The unbelievably long treatise is now being mirrored at kanga.nu. They managed to mirror it just after I added a parenthetical fact about the Parthians and horse archery, and changed the printer-friendly version to 10 point type so it's only about 70 pages instead of 100, so they're not quite out of date yet. So like, uh, if you can't read this, go to the mirror or something. :~/

5/13/01 - Having destroyed 2 weeks of my life writing it, I finally convinced myself to publish the nowhere near-ready, impossibly long treatise on game design. This section will be continually updated as I find out new barely relevant stuff to add. Feel my pain. In addition, a review of Black & White has been added. All of this has made me realize that the navbars are getting way too long for normal screen resolutions, and so they were changed. Stuff that has been moved into subcategories include the AC and UO rants, the two interviews, and Mr. T vs. Heavy Gear. Later, added more tripe to the design manifesto. Also, Jesse requested a print-friendly version (354k) of the manifesto, so there it is. This version is also suitable to whiny people who love to complain about color schemes. However, now I have to double update any further topics. Jesse is a bastich.

4/27/01 - A response added to Dev Board 1, Mu 0, proving once and for all that this "subtlety" thing just doesn't work anymore. Humankind is doomed. Screw all of you. I'll be going to these other sites that I'm too lazy to add to the links section. Maybe I can get into DAoC beta... LATER: Added even more fantastic commentary to Dev Board 1, Mu 0. I can't make this stuff up.

4/5/01 - Yes, just what everyone wanted, more Street Fighter stuff. House rules broken into logical subsections, an analysis of available styles, various fixes to the maneuever sheets, and more crappy character designs. Coming soon: an update that does not involve Street Fighter.

4/1/01 - Eleven new house rules for Street Fighter and a stupid page on combos for the same unplayed game. Later, moved that damned flash movie to another server. Gracias to Slite for easing my bandwidth woes.

3/29/01 - Fixed a bunch of stuff on the links page, did some more tweaking to the Street Fighter house rules, and added 3 game reviews plus one revision.

3/28/01 - Somehow reading depressing books makes me feel like update. It must remind me of the state of gaming today. First, redid the navbars so that people can more easily access the flash movie to drive up my bandwidth bill *mutter*. Added a category for Miscellaneous Tripe, where I shoved a bunch of crap which doesn't belong in any category because, well, it's just stupid. Cleaned out a bunch of directories and found some updates I've been sitting on for as long as a year and a half, and decided to publish them in order to drive away readers with the low quality of my work, which is probably why they stayed hidden in the first place. First, a stupid piece about MetsClubhouse.com that went nowhere, but contains an example of how well I can impersonate a gay sports groupie in print. Then a long-delayed report on my summer vacation in 1999, from which I had to omit a picture of Shayla Shayla in a tank top due to a request made out of fear of stalking. Then an incredibly dry and boring article on the myth of the web celebrity that I couldn't find a way to end, but decided to post anyway. After deriding sitemasters who update with no content, I then proceed to show that I am one of them with my vapid and shallow list of things I like, just to get more of that Geocities personal home page feel. Also found that in some insomnia-produced mania I had produced a slew of Street Fighter house rules for the out-of-print game I'll probably never play again, including a long and unbelievably complicated adaptation of the Arpad Elo rating system as applied to people who beat each others' teeth in. By now you are probably so bored you aren't even reading this sentence and are instead surfing over to eBay to see who's whoring out what today. I'll be there soon, friends! Wait for meeee...

2/1/01 - Small server model rules.

11/19/00 - I felt so dirty from reading people agree with me for 7 pages on the CoD Dev board, the Jeff K of useful discussion forums, I had to add this clarifying rant to become clean again.

11/17/00 - Something is wrong, and it's not all the players for once. AC Rants.

10/20/00 - For those of you who feel that the red dress in AC is an outrage because it only highlights the need for more porn elements, here's something silly.

10/11/00 - Two things to do while sitting around like an insomniac dork waiting for the servers to come back up.

10/3/00 - AllGameRadio's interview wasn't bad, despite my horror at the Manhattan Sneer accent that still pervades my speech. Since Densmore wouldn't be happy unless I complained about it, I will just list some crap from the original 80 minute conversation that didn't make it in: Densmore is a Neanderthal; Rate the Rocket Launchers; U Suk Densmore; Merits and Flaws in Jimi Hendrix's playing style; Audio Shows on the Net Suck (and so does Densmore); Yngwie Malmsteen has destroyed countless potential musicians; Does Densmore has an okay editing rig or does he just suck; The Zen of First Person Shooters; Densmore is a gimp because he likes First Person Shooters; The Mysteries of Properly Preparing Brisket in the Style of Middle Texas; Squeaky Toy as primary Attack in Shogo MAD; The Most Important American Composer of the 20th Century; Will Densmore edit out all of my really mean stuff... I'm sure there were more that I can't remember, but I'm sure there's some sort of continuity thread in there somewhere. :P

10/2/00 - Figures... I'm splitting for a couple of days, but Densmore assures me that by tonight he should have an interview piece up on AllGameRadio. Until then you can listen to their public service announcement over and over, like I do.

9/17/00 - Ever wanted to know what it was like to play Asheron's Call as a high level mage, but didn't have enough money to buy one on eBay? Well, now you can know! High (Level) Adventure (requires Flash 4.0).

9/15/00 - Who can stop the Six Million Dollar Drudge? All this and less in an edition of AC Rants that actually has something to do with AC.

8/25/00 - Apparently I made some sort of update earlier which I can't find. I know this because Wynder at CoD implied on July 21 that I said something about how "CAREBEARS SUCK" or something. If anyone can find this update, please tell me where I hid it and I'll repost.

8/10/00 - The most unexpected update ever... a new freakin' chronicle. Yep, another madcap romp with Mu and his wacky pals! Hyuk hyuk! Liquid Moves the Air.

8/3/00 - T-shirts, audio shows, and strategy guides in the latest, hastily thrown-together, halfassed AC Rant. For those desiring the special audio show dedicated to better roleplaying in all MMORPG's, click here. Oh yeah, and plugs.

7/8/00 - Nothing today for those folks that somehow think this is an AC site. In a moment of boredom, reprinted my old article from Sphere about Street Fighter, the game nobody plays. It's still available at Street Fighter Central, the site about the game nobody plays that never gets updated. And of course, the plugs.

6/26/00 - Today in AC Rants: Too many replies by people who can't read, and not enough replies by people who like quantum physics.

6/23/00 - Anti-jackass code. eBay sucks. Toadie/Toad kills Gandalf. Allerion Rules. Fight Club rules even more. Keep your cesium clock out of my sphere of collapsing stellar hydrogen. AC Rants.

6/12/00 - Minor commentary to sate the 3 people who read the site in AC Rants. Soon: a battle of wits between Mu and Tegehel, if we can ever get off our asses and finish it.

6/3/00 - A microupdate about the worst scammer ever in AC Rants. Yes there is some real content coming. No I don't know when. No I won't send it to you. Yes please keep emailing me. :P

5/3/00 - Feedback on the EQ report in AC Rants.

5/1/00 - A special Everquest report in AC Rants, because I refuse to actually devote a new section to EQ. Also killed many plugs that don't work and added new ones. One day I may actually fix my links too.

4/27/00 - It seems many people looked at the first page of the new chat, and not much further. It's also being touted as long and rambling on some other sites, but somehow I don't think they mean it in a good way. Weep weep. At least one site managed to credit me with ingesting massive amounts of hallucinogens as an explanation! Other good news: I just got kicked from #Akalabeth on irc.mystical.net, after everyone thought I was someone else, then realized I wasn't, then got into a lot of PM's discussing whether or not I was spying for one of the LOA's enemies (yes people really worry about this :P), then took offense when I said that's what they were doing. No interviews for Brimstone. :P

4/26/00 - New bizarre sleep-deprived chat with Jason Booth and Nei at Turbine. 12 pages of utter stupidity. This Chat Sucks. Also overhauled the lame navbars.

4/21/00 - Bah, turns out CoD's link omission was an oversight. So much for my big planned conspiracy theory piece. To make matters worse, Lum published a much better article on eBay than I did. I'm going to go sulk. 8P

4/13/00 - No update, but I just confirmed something I suspected from reading my referrals page... CoD no longer links me! I guess they don't like me now. :P

4/11/00 - Yet another long, meaningless, picture-packed rant to prove to Allen Grey that I am not dead, and of course, the most important part of the site, the plugs.

3/16/00 - New plugs and stuff.

2/15/00 - ANALOG SUCKS. As I pay the price for my not paying the price (for ISDN), I remember that I have a page somewhere, and for some reason people send me angry emails to update it. I have a few bones I could toss in: an as of yet unfinished log of my summer vacation last year which I haven't finished because I can't figure out how to make it funny; my exciting adventures in AC as I log in, get 50 @tells, go to the dires, find the one spell that shadow lieutenants are vulnerable to and log out; an essay on why modern music blows chunks and how nobody understands the dynamic interaction of overtones in orchestration; none of the above. What do you think? Also added some HTML to the Street Fighter section, which I am amazed anyone reads, for web ring inclusion. Oh yeah, and more plugs.

1/25/99 - No I'm not dead, but I might as well be. Maybe I should have thought about packing to move like, uh, more than 2 days in advance. Anyway, added 3 thingied to the Plugs page, which is still ugly and hard to navigate, with newest links towards the bottom. Someday I'll update it, or even the Links page, but it just sounds like too much work right now. ALSO: Very rarely is any sort of streaming audio program worth the hassle. This one is.

1/9/00 (later) - A counter-artifact is detailed in AC Rants. Also took some time to update the Plugs page, adding some links and killing some dead ones. Maybe someday I'll actually describe the sites being linked to, but for now please just click blindly to them.

1/9/00 - Back from a bout with the plague or something, with a backlog of mail to use as content in the next AC Rant. Hell hath no fury like an AC dev scorned!

1/2/00 (later) - More updating to AC Rants about people who just don't get the goddamn point.

1/2/00 - Another AC Rant about rumormongering, game-killing twinky devices, and being a loser... all the things which make AC great.

12/26/99 - Another AC Rant. Soon i have to redesign the navbar yet again, and maybe pull some more insane dev team interviews, if anyone is nuts enough to accept. BTW, if anyone can confirm that Craig "MAKO" Campanaro from SharkyExtreme is the same "MAKO" that used to tear shit up in Heavy Gear, let me know.

12/25/99 - A new yet strangely not too different AC Rant. Bonus points for those who think I'm considering abusing some sort of imaginary power. Oh yeah, and uh merry something. 8P

12/22/99 (later) - A really boring update to AC Rants, which now serves as my soapbox to post chats from retarded people, deliver play-by-plays on the local PK scene, and promote myself even further as a dishonorable looter.

12/22/99 - Yet another AC Rant, in the only section of the site that ever gets updated anymore. For those of you who wated new chronicles, there is a mini-chronicle enclosed in this latest installment. *digs for Broodwar CD*

12/20/99 - A new AC Rant about my least favorite feature of multiplayer gaming: the fact that it's multiplayer.

12/16/99 - While the server was down, I *yawn* went through the much-neglected stats and have thus updated Plugs. While doing so, I noticed that a lot of hits have been coming from Chris L'Etoile's .plan file, and I have not been able to properly kiss ass for this. Also, Nuker has been back for a while, only I didn't know it. And Shayla Shayla has a page. Woot.

12/7/99 - A brief update to AC Rants while the servers are unavailable for my powergaming amusement. I strongly advise you go read the Arwic story on Asheron's Call PvP to get some background information pertinent to part of the rant.

11/21/99 - No update. I'm going on a trip yet again, so before I go I should plug the new and different Asheron's Call PvP site, run by Kynn, where he gives away all of his strategies so that you can kill him easier. 8P Plus, if I plug the site I hope to get more in the way of phat lewt. Otherwise, Shadwolf is in command.

11/17/99 - Quick update to AC Rants regarding some feedback and low level experiences on Darktide, the PK server.

11/16/99 - Took a break from powergaming while the server is down to draw up an AC Rant which should have been done weeks ago. By the way, I was remote for a while without outgoing email, so if you think your message was ignored... well hell it probably was, but at least I have an excuse. :P

11/2/99 - You'd think having a few weeks off would result in more content, wouldn't you? Guess again. My laziness shows itself again in the latest update to AC Rants, in which I post some pics and reprint someone else's work.

10/26/99 - It's probably full of spelling errors considering how little I've slept in the last thirty or so hours (none), but the "beta" version of our recent battle with a bunch of idiots is up. In addition, an all-too brief addition to AC Rants has been added, sans some goofy screenshots which would be the equivalent of "My k3wl char" on the UOSS pictures forum.

10/18/99 - I am officially old today. I celebrate this day by hanging out like a slob at Shad's LAN and playing boring games and listening to bad RealAudio shows. Oh yeah, and trying to finish some new updates that won't get done today. 8P

10/13/99 - New AC Rant posted, one that has me seriously thinking of giving up my quest to make magic interesting again and just being a sword guy in final. Also, my lame character has been mentioned in Betabites in a fashion which is unusual in that I am not being made fun of, or whined at. Look for the "BB AC Beta Journal entry #5" thingy. And yes, the plugs page keeps growing.

10/2/99 - An all-new, instructive roleplaying story has been added to the AC Chronicles. Soon I shall petition Turbine for a speech filter for roleplaying, including in-character dialects like jive, pig latin, and spanglish.

9/28/99 - MAEGS R 2 POEWRFUL!!!111 Not yet, but they may be soon unless everyone reads and robotically agrees with the latest AC Rant.

9/27/99 - Okay, I've given up on trying to add chronicles in a sort of logical timeline, since I'm so backlogged I have about a thousand screenshots or so to go through. Therefore, I start my new tradition of plugging in stories wherever they might happen to be now, with 2 new additions to the AC Chronicles. So there. Oh yeah, and continued to update the Plugs page nobody looks at. I got even more hits from porno sites that don't actually link me, which leads me to believe that the readers of this site are all perverts. If you happen to run a real sex site that actually links here, please let me know and I'll plug you.

9/24/99 - Added a long addition to AC Rants, which is of interest to people who play AC, people who play UO, and people who wonder where the hell the flamers from my forum have gone.

9/20/99 - Added a real quick update to AC Rants and continued to update the Plugs page. BTW, good news for the site... I might finally lose my job tomorrow, something I've been subliminally trying to do for about a year. If this happens, I'll have no money, but at least I'll be able to update a lot! Later, added some really lameass posts from a truly sad forum to the rants, and updated Links to include Sluggy and Gamecore. The former owns everyone and the latter is a previously ambiguous LOA-based server which has found a new identity as an MMORPG rant site.

9/16/99 - Since I haven't been able to beta test anything with my main character except how high I can get my vitae, I have added a preview of my new beta playguide to AC Rants. Enjoy!

9/15/99 - Added a new AC Rant. No new chrons yet, as I am finally pissed off at AC for the time being... not the game, which is great, but the players. To all those who dick around town spewing spell formulas into the air and posting them on your lameass websites: thank you for giving away magic that is already becoming useless due to your dilution of the mana economy. Losers.

9/13/99 - Added my best installment ever to UO Rants. By the way, when my hard drive got reformatted, I uh lost my ICQ information, and forgot my password, so everyone who has been trying to ICQ me recently, uh I haven't seen any messages for over 2 weeks. Been kinda relaxing, actually. 8P I'll make my new ICQ available soon so people can send me auth requests that will never get through, and messages I'll ignore as I stay invisible forever.

9/9/99 - What have I been doing for the last week and a half? Nothing really, but here's Teg's Torment to make it seem like I've been diligent.

9/1/99 - Added Beau's Bar Etiquette to my list of content pages ripped off from other people on the forum. In that same tradition, added some new junk to AC Rants, the section that just won't die no matter how sucky it gets. Also, if anyone is remotely interested in Everquest, or just wants to see yet another MMORPG company step on its own dick in regards to public relations and customer support, go check out Lum's site, where the president of Verant strongarmed him into removing a file which, if left up, would have done no damage whatsoever. Now, because of John Smedley's excellent people skills, it has become the focus of a number of account cancellations and mirror sites. Games in development, take heed!

8/31/99 (later) - Grr, I had to go look at my stats to update the plugs page. Next thing you know, there's another AC Rant.

8/31/99 - Naturally, I got no web work done over vacation due to exciting Win95 problems. However, I did read a forum this morning and got pissed off, so yet another AC Rant is posted. Now here are all the links and stuff I didn't post before I left: Magnus finally updated; Mets Clubhouse is a new page written in part by Max Longstreet, and thus needs to be flamed; The Necromancy Institute looks cool but doesn't work in Netscape, and seems a little too loose with magical information in AC; Mourne has some new page up with a dead frog as a gimmick or something; Jason Booth and Tegehel at Turbine have cool pages which have plugged this one at some point; Shadwolf sucks because he won't get off his ass and update; and Sluggy still owns. More crap about AC coming as soon as I can get everything working again, including my criminal ideas about getting twinked stats in AC. Also some vacation pics if Shad remembers to scan them anytime soon.

8/19/99 - Added some random thoughts to the AC Rants. I am going on vacation now. Shadwolf is in command. Be afraid.

8/18/99 - OMFG. Go read Old Man Murray's AC Beta journal. NOW!

8/17/99 - Not much... updated some material in the C. Dalton Zone and Moron Attack!. If you want to see what I wrote today, please go to AMT Comics and check their forum quickly, before my post gets deleted for strong sexual imagery and cruelty. BTW the amazing vacation starts this weekend and will last about 7-8 days. I'll be working on some material while away if I can steal Shadwolf's laptop for the duration.

8/16/99 (later) - Shortly after posting the last update, I recieved 2 emails within about a minute of each other in regards to the C. Dalton Zone. Both have been posted in the Comments about the CDZ section. The first is a thoughtful look at philosophy and the work of Ludwig Wittgenstein. The second is a plea to not post any more of C. Dalton's lameass letters anymore. Both are fun. I'd also like to announce at this point that Starfleet Command does NOT suck!

8/16/99 - Compiled new cheesy content from the evil forum, this time victimizing poor "H." Go take a look at Moron Attack!, which can be found in the new section of the dumb navbar dedicated to hateful articles that make people cry. Speaking of whiners, youth murderer advocate C. Dalton crawled out of the woodwork to say "Hi" on the forum and threaten to sue me for posting his hate mail, an act which is somehow construed as "slander" (should be "libel") by stupid people. He's also planning to harass me in the AC beta, an act that should take place slightly after he gets accepted into beta and slightly before he gets kicked out of it. Needless to say, the C. Dalton Zone has been updated as well.

8/12/99 - Took some time to fix the navbars to point to the correct AC Main Page, the AC Rant(s), and the two Shadwolf pages listed under the C. Dalton Zone submenu. Soon I'll update the Links which no one ever looks at, including a plug for Shadwolf's Page, in the hopes that if enough people go there and hassle him he might get off his ass and finish it someday.

8/10/99 - I've been wondering to do with all there "referral reports" I get on my page, and so decided just to go check out who's linking to me and putting the links here for no reason. Also, AC Stratics is getting ready to feature the AC Chronicles in QuestMag or something. In preparation, I have written the first of my typical foul-mouthed, angry rants about Asheron's Call here to see how they react. 8P

8/9/99 - Edited the AC section to make it a little more up to date. It's still boring.

8/7/99 - Added a story to the UO Chronicles in the Baja section. WARNING: This story sucks, but since I figure anyone who is still looking for UO chronicles after all this time is also still playing UO after all this time, I can lower my standards a bit. Also I should mention here that I've neglected to plug the Warcouncil, recently resurrected from the dead. It's a UO site which recently has been mostly focussing on serious issues for players like stupid teenage boys who want cybersex over ICQ.

8/4/99 - Added a 2-part short story to the AC chronicles about what happens when you play too much AC without sleeping.

8/3/99 - Added 2 illustrated thingies to the AC chronicles. Currently working on another story that might actually turn out to be worthwhile.

7/28/99 (later) - A heart-wrenching appeal to send me your money was added.

7/28/99 - Believe it or not, added a new rant to UO Rants. It's not all that interesting, but I logged in a while ago and was amazed at how terrible things still were. Not much else to update, since I've spent an inordinate amount of update time reading Sluggy Freelance. You should too. I'd also like to thank all the sites that have been linking to me. The additional hits help to cultivate the illusion of self-worth that is so important to my fragile psyche. They also make me laugh evilly when I read my URL referral reports. 8P

7/26/99 (even later) - Okay, got around that little language barrier. New poll up about something which probably nobody who reads this lame site knows about.

7/26/99 (later) - Finally archived the name thing from the Polls page. I was trying to create a new poll about the possibility of getting the AC Chronicles hosted somewhere legitimate, but apparently the VantageNet poll wizard rejects the word "whore" in its responses. Don't worry, I'll figure something out. 8P

7/26/99 - Added and tweaked some links. Also added an Asheron's Call Index that I have not updated the nav bar to reflect yet. Maybe later.

7/25/99 - Added a new story to the Asheron's Call Chronicles. No, I was too lazy to find and format my email from Jason, but he did plug me in his .plan file, which was nice. 8P It also seems I have won a sketch of myself from Ra of Another Mad Tower for writing a story full of bitterness towards OSI support and GM's, a story that has already been characterized as "pretty lame"! The problem now is how to send in a paperdoll, since taking a screenshot of one would necessitate logging into UO *shiver*.

7/21/99 - Mu here... that scoundrel Longstreet has been overthrown, and has now found employment as my scotch glass-polisher. In the meantime, I threw a few screenshots and a weak storyline to go with them into the Asheron's Call Chronicles, pictures that remind me a little too much of my recent oceanic ordeal. I was also going to go and update the Polls page, but it seems that the third-party poll provider is incapable of keeping ActiveX working for very long. Such is the price of cheese. Later on, I'll try to post some cool mail from Jason Booth at Turbine Games, if I can find it.

7/20/99 - Longstreet again. As long as I rule Mu's page, I went and updated some of his terrible links, adding Asheron's Call links, updating some others, and killing a few 404's. He should be surprised if he ever gets... I mean, when he gets out of that maze of caverns I trapped him in. Muahahaha!

7/19/99 - Max Longstreet here... Mu seems to have gone missing, but I found a few files he probably wanted to upload to the Asheron's Call Chronicles. I must say, while doing so I perused some of his other writings, and found an abominable number of typos! I have taken the liberty of fixing them.

7/16/99 - I was looking at the new site today, and suddenly realized that the literary classic Mr. T versus Heavy Gear was missing about 2/3 of it's images! (Yes I fixed it.) If anyone catches any major screwups like this, please don't hesitate to flame me about it so I can fix it, instead of thinking everything's cool while I look like a dork. 8P

7/15/99 - Officially posted notice about the domain move on the old site, and noticed that the hit counter was skyrocketing up by 1 every time I loaded this page!  Also changed my email... the new pop3 seems to be working.  Now to spam everyone *sigh*. Later, added a short and inadequate commentary on the magic system used in Asheron's Call.

7/14/99 - Amazing what you can dig up while updating.  Added some updated information to the My Computer section, and discovered that I finished 2 other match logs for the Por Corps in Starcraft, and never linked to them.  Doh.  Stuck the Dreamhost banner at the bottom of the page in the vain hopes that someone might click on it and reduce the terrible burden of my hosting bill.  Added a counter set to zero and stared at it, depressed.

7/13/99 - Began the long-procrastinated task of translating the files for the move to ranter.net.  Now I am regretting not learning how to to correct HTML back in the day.  8P  Changing all links to relative instead of URL specific and removing that background, which I'm finally sick of.

7/12/99 - Added 2 new stories to the Asheron's Call chronicles.  Later on, posted another 2.

7/9/99 - Thanks to Wrathgar at ACSS for pointing out a couple of errors (vitae penalty, heritage characteristics) and recent updates (PK item loss on death).  These have been compensated for in the Asheron's Call Beta section.  Also remembered that there was a Polls page, and put up something utterly useless on it.  These gimmicks wear thin pretty quickly, so I would recommend you watse your time on Old Man Murray's new turn-based strategy game!

7/8/99 - Posted Asheron's Call screenshots in a feeble attempt at a new Musashi Chronicle.  Well, at least it's pretty.

7/7/99 - Posted the beginnings of the Asheron's Call Beta section.  No screenshots yet, since there is no decent way to take a 3dfx screenshot that I know of.  Sad as it is, I'm actually going to get a new 3d card just so I can get screenshots in 32-bit color.

7/6/99 - Made some irrelevant changes to the UO Rants layout.  Also, got a 4-star rating from Greybeard, whose page I've been reading forever.  Naturally, as the UO material gets recognized I've been working on a section about the Asheron's Call beta.  Sigh.

7/2/99 (even later yet) - The identify of the mystery GM is revealed.  I know nobody cares, but it's in UO Rants anyway.

7/2/99 (even later) - More updates to UO Rants, restructured the whole rants section to load faster and archive better... ah, who cares!  Turbine lifted the NDA on the Asheron's Call beta!  La la la!  Expect some kind of dumb stuff about it sometime soon if, uh, I feel like it.  I can also just sit here and gloat.  8P

7/2/99 (later) - Lum provides some positive ID's on our GM roundup in UO Rants.

7/2/99 - Someone sent me a funny picture, so I had to make up something stupid in UO Rants to justify its presence.

6/30/99 - I'm sure there's some interesting stuff going on somewhere, but who cares!  B. FATT & LAZY are back!

6/29/99 - A GM was caught being unethical.  This is as shocking as the discovery that the Earth revolves around the Sun and not vice-versa.  Check it out in UO Rants.  I'll be glad to put up more time-wasting polls as soon as the poll site stops being cranky.

6/28/99 - I suck so much all I can do in my UO Rants section is comment on other people's UO Rants.

6/22/99 - Mostly to get Dethbot to stop spamming, a new Poll has been added.  8P

6/21/99 - Man, hasn't everyone had enough of this already?  Added more blind dogmatism and interesting archaeological/philosophical/ontological arguments to The Gospel.  Updated that Polls page Bean hates so much.  Finally weeded through my 50 meg mailbox and updated that damn Mail page.

6/18/99 (later) - The Reverend Sean Doe feels the need to confirm yet again that he thinks being a clueless dick is the same as being funny.  Later, a private audience with the Reverend, and hopefully the last boring unread update to Mushroom War.  Now I can get back to more important stuff, like archiving religion debates from the forum.  Gah.

6/18/99 - Just when you thought the smoke had cleared, here come a surprisingly biting reply from Reverend Sean Doe, possibly the closest thing to funny out of the enemy camp!  *WHAP*  That's before I was slapped back into coherence by the heroically proportioned miscellaneous body parts of Seanbaby.  Refer to the Epilogue of the Mushroom War.  As always, the eternal debate continues in The Gospel, which in turn has forced me to update my clunky navbars yet again.  Later, added some groveling I did over my brief lapse of faith, once again in Mushroom War.

6/17/99 (later) - I no longer have to update... my forum does it for me!  Captured the merciless logic bombardment from today's thread about faith and carbon dating, preserved for all time at The Gospel According to Shayla Shayla and a Bunch of Freaks on the Mu Forum.  Oh yeah, did some boring navbar work and changed out a lot of old and ugly backgrounds.  Later on, I managed to fix my navbar screwup.  Wow I suck.

6/15/99 - Completed the ninth (and possibly final) chapter of The Mushroom War.  May the world never forget.   Also expired 2 of the polls and added 2 new ones on the Polls page.  Reprinted with permission a plea for humanitarian aid from Penny Arcade.

6/14/99 (later) - More mad updates.  First, there's a NEW MU CHRONICLE (there, happy?) about the Unban Nighthawk protest on Baja last Friday.  Along with this is a short addendum to my last rant in UO Rants.  Finally, just when you thought it was safe to get on the web again, the Mushroom has taken our offer of truce and done, umm, something unfunny with it. The Mushroom War continues!

6/14/99 - After a weekend of sleeping and subsisting on a diet of nothing but sugar and tobacco, I feverishly finished Mushroom War, which would have been done Saturday if some dumbass hadn't insisted on playing Starcraft until the sun was high in the sky on Sunday.  Also, for those of you who didn't hear yet, Nighthawk's banning was lifted shortly after a bunch of insane people overran Castle British on Baja Friday night.  More on this later.

6/11/99 - Too many updates.  First, the Reviews section was given its own navbar link.  Next, there's a whole new section, Mushroom War, about the recent 1-day war with incredibly unfunny humor magazine The Mushroom, in which one of our forum regulars sacrificed his sanity for victory.  A really long rant today in UO Rants about the banning of Nighthawk from Ultima Online, a man I would like to call my friend if only it meant he wouldn't kill me.  Added 2 new polls and moved them all onto their own Polls Page, since they were getting in the way of my badly laid out main page design.  I also did tons of work updating my whole stupid navbar array, which was getting out of date.  Most importantly, though, I added an easy-to-find navbar link for my no-frames page.6/10/99 (later) - Because I realize there are people who don't like frames, I have put up a frameless version of my original page here.

6/10/99 - A cheesy poll added, part of my never-ending, ultimately futile quest to be more like my hero Lum.

6/9/99 - An insignificant update to UO rants.  Added reviews of Malkari and Jagged Alliance:  Deadly Games to Reviews.  A reminder:  I am too lazy to actually do meaningful updates to the Review page, so feel free to send in your unjustified rants on the PC games of your choice.  And damnit, the Mu and Max Vacation Getaway Contest '99 is on!... Later:  Added reviews of the first 2 X-Com games to Reviews.

6/2/99 - Since all new games do indeed suck, I started babbling about games spanning a 20-year period, and have begun to post these mumblings on a PC Game Review Page.  If you have a review of some PC game or other which is unusualy, funny, or whatever, feel free to check out the notice at the end of the review page for instructions on sending it in, and expect me to lose your email.

5/27/99 - TONS OF UPDATES.  New bitter, angry, evil rant in UO rants.  In order to give something back to the community of readers who frequent this page, as well as to try and generate some more forum traffic, a contest is being held.  For details, see the Mu and Max Vacation Getaway Contest '99 page.  Also removed the link for Game of the Moment, as further reading of GotM reveals that it fucking sucks.  Added links for Another Mad Tower, the Turkey Movie Page, Ministry of Battle and I Can't Win in Links.  I'd also recommend taking a peek at this article on Gamegurus... technically about StarCraft clans, but easily applied to crappy UO guilds.  8P  Split the UO Rants section into 2 big slow-loading pig pages instead of 1 big slow-loading pig page.  Also added a pointless quote above, which I just thought was funny.  I'll change it when I feel like it.

5/21/99 - A long discourse in UO rants about how old and cranky I am.  All games suck!

5/19/99 - Gave the C. Dalton-related subsites their own spot on the navbar finally, so that I can stop putting annoying links in this section.  Did some more technical cleanup work on the pages that no one ever visits.

5/18/99 - Due to the huge number of Comments on the C. Dalton Zone, I'll just update that section as more responses roll in.  You'll have to guess as to what's been added, if that sort of thing really interests you.  Also, Shadwolfrequested that I post his email address in case anyone was NOT offended by his recent pages, so that he might edit out the non-offending sections.  Also added to the C. Dalton Zone.  Ooh look at me!  Comparitive philosophy!  I suppose pater thought regular philosophy was a bit common!  Pardon me while I go play the grand piano!

5/17/99 - Lots and lots of comments on our newest feature, a new email, and more junk I spent too much time formatting in the C. Dalton Zone and Comments on the C. Dalton Zone.  Also, two new pages were put up by Shadwolf guranteed to offend everyone who sees me correctly as a hateful and vicious person: Shadwolf's Black Trenchcoat Page and Shadwolf on Being an Outcast.  Later, posted a reply to C. Dalton letter 3 and some new comments.  This is making me sleepy.

5/14/99 - Insignificant update to UO rants which is of no interest to anyone except for players on Atlantic, and even that is debatable.  Also in UO rants...  HAAAATE MAAAAAIL!!!  So much hate mail, in fact, that there is now a new section devoted to one person who is the embodiment to anti-Musashi feelings for misunderstood teens everywhere.  Enter... the C. Dalton Zone!

5/13/99 - Mail has been added, not to the never-updated mail section, but to UO rants bearing words of wisdom on that writing guide for thsoe dman rp lamrz.

5/12/99 - What is wrong with you people?  More UO rants in a desperate attempt to offend someone.

5/10/99 An update to UO rants which sucks.  Please don't read it.  Just log into UO and ask a GM to ban me because you don't like my playing style.  Please!  I don't care what shard it's on!  They may not even ask why!  Free me!

5/7/99 - Added some feedback to my quiz and a boring flamewar to the UO rants page.

5/5/99 - Added a quiz no one will understand to Ultima Online rants.  Continuing to putz around with the FOO page.

5/4/99 - Jealous of how cool Lum the Mad's rant page is, I made the first update to my UO commentaries in 7 months.  Sad eh?  A lot of the references in there are guild-specific and won't matter to most of you, but the few who understand them will probably be highly offended, which more than makes up for it.

4/30/99 - I confess that I haven't been updating a lot because I am working on another site for my current UO guild, the Followers of Ogopogo (FOO).  The page is way not done yet, but you can go here to see wtf is up so far.

4/27/99 - Instead of actually updating my page, I've just been surfing some others.   So you can see what I've been doing online, I've done a lot of link updates.  Added links for: Gamespot, Old Man Murray, Game of the Moment, A Day In the Life, The Rantings of Lum the Mad, Dr. TwisTer's Bug Alert, Healers of Britannia, Supaa Sayaj'in, and the awesome Seanbaby's Home Page.  Fixed some link descriptions and a couple of URL's.  Added a warning to the Rainbow Six mod section, since neither Bean nor I have played Rainbow Six in a long time and just now realized the mod was unusable with the latest version of Rainbow Six.  I hereby declare this badly structured paragraph to be my update.

4/13/99 - Added a link for "Bumble the Bard."  UPDATE:  Parliament is still da bomb.

3/29/99 - Added the first ever Musashi UO comic in the Musashi Chronicles.

3/27/99 - Added 2 new stories to the Musashi Chronicles.

3/26/99 - Changed the navbar layout yet again.

3/25/99 - FINALLY posted Musashi's Guide to Writing UO Roleplaying Stories in an effort to help bad writers everywhere pretend they are some highly respected author of fantasy, like John Norman.  Totally unrelated to this is my recent fixation on old Parliament records.  All funky praise to the mothership.

3/24/99 - Fixed the Joy of Villainy links and added some for What the Fuck Man?, the gateway to JoV, UOEvil and McDonaldland.  Highly recommended for UO  players and fans of insanely good Flash 3 movies.  Coming as soon as I can think of a way to complete it:  Mu's guide to writing a UO Roleplaying Story that will get you appreciated by all those damn RPers.

3/15/99 - Added a commentary on the Deathlands StarCraft league forum's hero of the stupid, Dark Dark Dark Dark Dark, in the StarCraft section.

3/5/99 - Nighthawk of the Joy of Villainy posted a link here, which I am happy about; JoV is one of my favorite UO-related pages.  In return I snagged some of his HTML source code and fixed my links to work properly (external page links now open in a new window instead of the frame they were launched from).

3/4/99 - Got sick of having to page back a lot to  compress the sidebar topic expansions so I added links to do it.  Begin to question the value of framing at all.

2/25/99 - Converted all pages to work with frames, which I am FINALLY putting in.  Things may act sorta strange during this transition; email me if you see any problems... Got bored and made a way complicated navbar setup which defeats my motive of using less space with framing.  Oh well.  8P

2/24/99 - Added 2 stories to the UO chronicles.

2/19/99 - Changed the forum location  to a new one, one which supports IP banning for annoying people MUAHAHAHAHA...  Also added one overdue blurb on current stepping CPU's on the overclocking page.

2/15/99 - Added a link to an ultracheesy Messagezone forum.  Go on and be confused by each other, my rare readers.

2/9/99 - Posted a new story and placed a mark for yet another in the UO section.  Added a link for Zhelavar:  The Hunt Begins in the UO fiction links.

2/5/99 - Accessgate has been down for almost a week as part of the fallout from a hacker attack and the stupidity of Bell Atlantic.  I'm putting up a couple new short stories in the UO section, to be polluted with pictures as soon as I get home and have access to them.

1/27/99 - Added a "Mail" page after getting a lot of comments on the Ultima Online stuff, and just started putting up letters.  Added a link to the UO Mac Advocate, Dundee's Site, and Penfold's and polished up the links in general.  Some more stuff added to the Por Corps page, but I've been slacking since I relinquished command of it.  8P

1/19/99 - Umm, been doing a lot of updates at the Por Corps page over the last few days.

1/12/99 - Added the log of the Por Corps' first league match here.

1/8/99 - Added a bunch of junk in the StarCraft section:  Por Corps page and Kel Riever's journal.

12/26/98 - Okay that took longer than I thought, but one new LONG chronicle added.  Added link to Magnus Files.  Really, I have a ton of pics to go through, and should have more stories up soon.  Also be on the lookout for a hastily thrown together page for my team on Deathlands StarCraft.

11/30/98 - Posted 4 new stories in the UO chronicles, and hope to have a fifth up by either later tonight or tomorrow.

11/10/98 - Posted Tony's Losing Endgame Strategies for Starcraft.

11/6/98 - I GOT HATE MAIL!  Yes, some illiterate fool sent me some jibba-jabba crazy talk.  I don't have time to put up serious navbar mods right now, and so far it's only one letter, so just go here if you want to see it.

10/30/98 - Posted Bean 2-5 weapons mod for R6, for once with up-to-date documentation.

10/29/98 - More navbar nonsense, expanding topics.  Put the gear designs on a separate page.

10/28/98 - Changed the fonts on the cheesy navbar since some idiot said it was hard to read in 1600 resolution.  Hint:  don't use 1600 resolution.

10/27/98 - Finished goofy redesign, strangely enough with a minimum of problems.  Started hauling all links over to dedicated links page, but naturally I lost most of the email from people who wanted a link here.  If you still want one, please resend so I can lose it again.  8P

10/23/98 - Posted Bean's 2-3 Rainbow 6 mod.  Began working on making cheesy navbars for all the pages in an effort to make navigation easier.

10/20/98 - Added a new illustrated chronicle in the Ultima Online section.

10/16/98 - Added a link for the greatest movie reviewers in the world to the front page.

10/14/98 - Added a page for Bean's 2-0 Rainbow Six weapons mod which he's too stupid to post for himself.

10/9/98 - FINALLY posted Mr. T versus Heavy Gear.

10/6/98 - Added a nonfunctioning button for the Bean 2-0 weapons mod for Rainbow 6.

10/4/98 - Added a new illustrated chronicle in the Ultima Online section.

10/3/98 - Added 2 new illustrated chronicles in the Ultima Online section.

10/2/98 - Added a link for Chicks Suck and the Misanthropic Bitch on the main page.  Updated my Ultima Online rant.

9/28/98 - Added a new illustrated chronicle in the Ultima Online section.

9/27/98 - Added a new illustrated chronicle in the Ultima Online section.

9/26/98 - Added 2 new illustrated chronicles in the Ultima Online section.

9/25/98 - Updated the My Computer section to reflect the addition of a Plexwriter CD-R.  Added graphical links and some other stuff on the Musashi Chronicles.

9/23/98 - Posted a new illustrated chronicle in the Ultima Online section, slightly disturbed that these are more popular than the short stories.

9/22/98 - Posted a new illustrated chronicle in the Ultima Online section.  Realized that I was eating up more and more server storage and was already over my limit on GTI, so I began migrating my stuff to Accessgate.

9/21/98 - Posted illustrated chronicles in the Ultima Online section.  Added a lot more UO links and a new link category for story/chronicle sites.

9/18/98 - Noted that someone added my Heavy Gear page to the Gameseeker search engine and wondered who it was. Fixed a broken link on the Heavy Gear screenshots section. Discovered the joys of editing HTML on Notepad.

9/17/98 - I have become aware that some people actually think UO Lite is a real game, and so I have created a new section called "Blatant Satire" to help these unfortunate souls "get it".  Been hard at work on Mr. T versus Heavy Gear, and added the future link to it in the Blatant Satire section so someone might actually read it when it's done.  I started an "About Me" page but stopped because it was too silly, even though several people have asked me to do so.  If you happen to actually be reading this and you think I should, email me.

9/15/98 - Added a new Mu story in the Ultima Online section.

9/14/98 - Changed the Computer Stupidity link to Rinkworks.  Updated my UO rant.

9/10/98 - Added a link to Computer Stupidity.  Added a short explanatory blurb and some links to the Benchmark page.

9/9/98 - Added the benchmarks page under Technology.  Updated later with corrected benchmarks for Quake II and GLQuake.

9/8/98 - Added integrated links into the My Computer section, started running some fps benchmarks.  Decided that my counter has been down for over a week and is not worth waiting for, unless someone can recommend a good small 3rd party cgi counter I can link to.  Updated my Ultima Online rant.  Added a page for UHGO and UO Lite.

9/4/98 - Updated some links and my rant on the Ultima Online page.

9/3/98 - Added a great image of a burned-out PC for the Overclocking link sent in to me by =DC= Cat's Meow.  Added the Overclocking page under Technology.

9/2/98 - Drawing a blank today so I'm just doing some minor typo fixes and playing with a new look for the front page.

9/1/98 - Re-added the styles and maneuvers to the Street Fighter section after the original upload was lost in server migration.  Added Senor Mezcalito to the SFSTG character section.  Added a Mr. T link to the front page.  Fixed a typo sent in by a reader and a bad link in Maneuvers.  Added a link to Shadowolf's page under his swill reviews.  Uploaded Breading of the Krill Giant Chef.  Finished the maneuvers list for Street Fighter.

8/31/98 - Added Shadowolf Reviews Swill under the Alcohol section (previously Drinking Tips).  Added a huge amount of information on styles and maneuvers to the Street Fighter section.

8/30/98 - Added ITAG to my disturbing links.

8/29/98 - Corrected the name of the Boilermaker (was One-Step Harvey Wallbanger) in Drinking Tips; took me a while since I am drunk right now and couldn't remember the correct name for a while.

8/28/98 - Found a picture of a Loch Dhu bottle for the Drinking Tips section and entered my somewhat blurred memory of how it was.  Corrected my evaluations of Lagavulin and Laphroaig, suddenly realizing that my "sweet" characterization was relative only to other Islay malts and perhaps a mug full of seawater.  Reorganized, edited, and added a link to the Street Fighter section.  Added some Stupid Alcohol Tricks to the Drinking Tips section.  Decided that Drinking Tips should have its own subdirectory, as it seems to be growing out of control (like everything else here).  Put Site News onto its own page as one futile step towards a uniform layout.

8/27/98 - Updated the UO comics links a bit and fixed a few typos. Added the rudimentary Drinking Tips page, which right now just contains links and commentaries on my 3 favorite single malts.  Moved my ever-lengthening rant on the Players' Guide to its own page in the Street Fighter area under the Pen and paper RPG section.  Added more bits and pieces to the Street Fighter area as I think of them or get flamed by readers.  Break down and remove the borders from my linked images after the fact with PICO, and will keep doing so until I can figure out how to do it in Composer.

8/26/98 - Added stuff under Technology Links so you have something to do when you get bored of my ranting.  Shuffled some stuff around to no avail.  Put up a startlingly realistic picture of myself which might have been done by Boris Vallejo, courtesy of Master Po, the late Chan McKendrick's spiritual mentor.  Added sanple characters and a revised Cartwheel Kick by the game's designer in the Street Fighter STG section.  Added some weird links which don't fit any of my other sections.  Whined to the guys at GTI until they put up a counter for me, which I subsequently ruined, and am now re-entering with PICO.

8/25/98 - Uploaded The Shimmering Screen in the Pen and Paper RPG section, and finished component rambling in my self-indulgent computer page in the Technology section, and put up a very rudimentary Street Fighter STG page also under Pen and Paper RPG's.

8/23/98 - Back from vacation, and will probably think about updating today but never actually get around to it.

8/14/98 - Did some more tweaks and edits, a new Musashi story in the UO section, and I go on vacation to New Hamster for a week.  I'll probably forget I even put this stuff here when I get back.

8/13/98 - Actually work on and finish most of the Heavy Gear and UO sections.  This page still looks like crap.  I haven't told ANYONE about this page for fear of ridicule.

8/12/98 - I suddently realize that Netscape Communicator comes with a composer, and that I have web space.  Like every other fool on the planet with a net account, I blow off lots of time at work writing pages using a terrible WYSIWIG editor in the vain hopes that doing so will garner me new friends.
