		<description>I would say that ritual magic was sort of implemented in Final Fantasy X-2 in the form of the dance.  One of your characters can learn a dance which would effectively take them out of combat during the dance(ritual).  These dances would then either give buffs to the party or debuffs to the enemies.  It wasn&#039;t always a one turn dance(spell).  It would sometimes last longer.

Ritual magic might be an interesting way to both include magical diversity (a wide variety of potential magical skills) as well as encouraging team play in your RPG. Maybe you need to cast Speed of Hermes in order to even have a chance of killing that dragon, but it can only be cast by a Circle of Thirteen, with a wide variety of magical attributes.</description>
